Building Permits (Residential and Commercial)
The City of Andalusia adopted the 2003 International Building Code in 2005. Click here to go to Andalusia's Code of Ordinances. Look at Chapter 5 to view our ordinance on Buildings and Building Regulations.
Building Permits are issued for all residential and commercial construction jobs within the city limits of Andalusia. The Building Inspector reviews architectural plans for major renovations or new construction and approves the issuance of a building permit.
In order to purchase a Building Permit, you must have a current City of Andalusia Business License.
Building permits are calculated and based on the value of the job.
An Issue Fee of $2.50 will be added to all sign permits.
