The AAHS Annual Pet Calendar Contest is held during the Kiwanis Covington County Fair each year.

Proud pet parents can enter their pet’s picture by completing the form and paying the entry fee. Voting takes place at our booth during the fair and, since each vote is only a quarter, you can vote many times, choosing among your favorites – or put all your money on your pet!

And you don’t have to attend the Fair to vote! Just include as many votes as you like (25 cents each) with your entry form. Your ‘pre-votes’ will be added to your pets’ tally along with votes received at the Fair. All proceeds stay right here in Covington County to benefit our low-cost spay & neuter program! The more we raise, the more we can do!

The entry receiving the most votes is featured on the calendar cover and a month of the winner’s choice. The next 11 entries receiving the most votes are featured on a calendar month. And all entries are featured in a collage on the inside front cover.

Calendars are published in time for Christmas and make great gifts! Orders can be placed when completing the entry form, by contacting the AAHS office at 334-582-2665 – or with any member of the Humane Society. Order forms will also be available at the Fair, the Humane Society, and local vet offices.
