ReAct Theatre and Arts presents "Tales from the Tomb," a historic walk through Magnolia Cemetery in which characters from Andalusia's past come to life. Tours are set for 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sat., Nov. 1, and for 4 p.m. on Sun., Nov. 2. Tickets, which are $10 are available on eventbrite.com.

The Covington Veterans Foundation will present "Celebration of Heroes," a program of music and dance that is a tribute to military veterans. This year's focus is on veterans of the Global War on Terror. Admission is free for this event, which is set for 2 p.m. in the Andalusia High School Auditorium.

Join us in honoring our nation's heroes at the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Veterans Day Parade on November 11th at 10:00 AM! This event is free to all participants and open to anyone who wants to take part in this special tribute to our veterans. The parade will line up at First Baptist Church in Andalusia, and the procession will make its way to City Hall, where the City of Andalusia will host a Veterans Ceremony to honor those who have served.

A Veterans Day Ceremony, including the placing of memorial wreaths, will follow the parade at the Veterans Monument located behind City Hall. 

The City of Andalusia will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of  Veterans Day. Tuesday's and Wednesday's garbage routes will be picked up on Wednesday. Please have hobos out early.

This annual arts and crafts market benefits the Angel of Hope for Covington County organization. It is held in Robinson Park, which is home to the Angel of Hope, located on Church Street.
